Importing bookmarks in Google Chrome

Google Chrome allows users to import bookmarks in several different ways, you can import them directly from within Chrome or export manually from one brower and import manually to Chrome.

To import from directly within Chrome you must be on the same computer which your origianl bookmarks reside.

Open Chrome then:

  1. Click on the Menu button
  2. Select Bookmarks
  3. Select Import Bookmarks and settings...

Select which browser you would like to import your bookmarks from and select Import

Google Chrome will automatically import your bookmarks and favorites.  


If you would like to manually import your bookmarks select Bookmarks HTML File, then Import.

If you would like to further organize your bookmarks you can do so by going to Bookmark Manager using the same steps below or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+O
