Entering Student IT Checklist

STEP 1: RECEIVE YOUR WELCOME PACKET FROM IT HELPDESK

A welcome packet should has already been emailed to your personal email address.  The PDF attachment contains your MSPP ID credentials which allowing you to access various MSPP online services and resources.  If it has been more than a week since you have paid your enrollment deposit and still have not yet received a welcome packet from us, please contact the helpdesk - SUPPORT@MSPP.EDU ASAP and we will resend a welcome packet to you.

To read the welcome packet, you will need ADOBE READER.  If you don't have it on your computer, please download a free copy at http://get.adobe.com/reader/

STEP 2: ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT BY ENROLLMENT

To activate your account please visit:

  1. PASSWORDRESET.MSPP.EDU and then click Enroll In Password Recovery Self-Service

  2. After you have completed enrollment, head back to the Password Reset homepage and click CHANGE MY PASSWORD to change the current default password listed in your welcome packet.

  3. Once you have successfully changed your password, please visit: http://mail.mspp.edu to LOG INTO WEBMAIL using your MSPP username and new password.

PLEASE NOTE: Your account will not be activated until you have ENROLLED, CHANGED YOUR PASSSWORD and have LOGGED INTO WEBMAIL

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR ALL OTHER CRUCIAL MATERIALS THAT WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU BY OTHER DEPARTMENTS  FROM THE SCHOOL. 

STEP 3: ACCESS YOUR STUDENT/REGISTRATION/COURSE INFORMATION

Visit http://ssig.mspp.edu to access SSIG, our student information gateway.  Here you can find out your course registration, class schedule, billing, field placement site search, as well as other crucial information related to your academic progress.  Please be sure to verify your personal contact information to make sure what we have on file is correct.

STEP 4:  CHECK OUT OTHER SERVICES AVAILBLE FOR STUDENTS

MyCampus - https://mycampus.mspp.edu (this is the intraweb that holds most  of the secured forms and documents - requires MSPP Username and Password)

STEP 5: SIGN UP EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION

If you do want to get notified for EMERGENCY event such as school closing due to weather, please click HERE

When you arrive to the campus for the first time, don't forget to take a chance to:

 

GET YOUR ID CARD

Please drop by the helpdesk during business hours to get your MSPP ID Card.  You will need it if you wish to print on campus.
