Delegate Access will allow users you select to have access to your Calendar, Tasks, Inbox, Contacts, and Notes. Permission can be controlled per section as well, you can give someone access to your calendar but not your inbox.
These steps will show you how to grant access to users and properly permission them.

In Outlook go to File,
- Account Settings
- Delegate Access
Click ADD and select a user to grant permission to.
You can choose what to give this person access to and click OK.
We advise following the Principal of Least Priviledge- Only giving a user permission to do the work they need to
A simple way to notify the user of the priviledge you are giving them is to select the box "automatically send a message to delegate summarizing these permissions".
